Paper Candy Decorations

Paper Candy Decorations
Paper Candy on the Playhouse

I was trying to figure out how to turn my backyard into a candy wonderland while also staying in budget. I was wandering up and down the aisles of our local party store looking for inspiration when I came across some glittery coasters and bam! I had an idea!

I started by cutting some sparkly tool and tissue paper into equal sized rectangles

I then bunched the center as if making a bow

A little dab of glue….(I took this photo early…definitely switched to the hot glue gun! The dry time was too long with the liquid glue)

Voila! Now repeat….a lot!

What to do with them

  • Glue them onto string and make garland
  • Stick them around the party area
  • Make Party Hats
  • Others? Share with me!
